For Ebonite's Track, Carl answers questions about drilling layouts on bowling equipment, and helps bowlers get the proper fit. Often he helps a bowler choose a bowling ball that will best suite their style of lane play, based only on the information that he is able to recieve via email or on the telephone. (Imagine how he can help you in person!) One of the most demanding parts of the Track position is being able to help other pro shop operators set up a Track bowling ball for their customers. Carl currently writes a column for Ebonite International's Pro Shop Insider Magazine, and has even appeared on the front cover. Having a pro shop operator inside Camelot with this kind of experience and knowledge is a tremendous advantage to us. Carl is here for you and will work to make sure that you are happy with your equipment. Carl had this as his mission statement:
CG Pro Shop has 3 coaches from area highschool teams. Being able to provide USBC Certified Coaching to our customers is an asset that most pro shops in our area cannot provide. As bowling grows as a sport it is becoming more and more important to be able to provide first rate coaching. I stand firm on keeping all types of bowling equipment on display so that customers can see the equipment that they are going to purchase before they make their decision. Our walls will always be packed with bowling equipment for the beginning bowler and the competitive bowler alike. CG Pro Shop, inside the front door of Camelot Lanes, is owned and
operated by Carl Hurd. He was an Amateur Staff member with Track
Bowling from 2003-2007 and remains a technical advisor for Ebonite
International for Track.
