Details for parents:

Camelot coaches will meet the children at your school at dismissal time.  Transportation is provided by Camelot Lanes.  You collect the kids at 5:00 and sign out.  Every child must be picked up by 5:20 PM.

If your child is not bowling on a particular day please phone us that morning.  There will be no bowling on snow days & other days that school is closed.

The fee is $8.00 per week.  This includes the bus ride, snack (choice of pizza, hot dog, or cookies) a small soft drink, use of shoes, house balls, coaching, and bowling.  Monthly payments may be paid by check, credit card, or cash.  We offer a discount for advance full payment.  Weekly payment must be cash only.  Adults need to take care of all fees.  Small fries cannot be responsible for big bucks.

At the start of each session coaches give a lesson in bowling basics. Our coaching staff includes retired teachers, education majors, high average, and pro bowlers.  Each week they work with the kids individually to improve skill.

Bowlers not on bumpers establish averages and compete for their school's All Star Bowling Team.  The Challenge Cup invitational is held at Camelot in January and May with All Stars bowling at no cost.  Twice a year the Challenge Cup trophy is awarded to the winning elementary and middle school.

Parents are invited to visit Camelot to observe the learning & fun activities.  Our staff require good manners and respect of safety rules.  We reserve the right to deny enrollment for any reason.  This is not a school sponsored activity.

Pee Wees

Pee Wees

This is big fun for little people: Two games of bumper bowling, coaching, light balls, tiny shoes. Everyone gets a trophy!

Ten week program starts three times a year: September, January, & March but we'll plop your pumpkin into the program just about any time. Please select Saturday at 10:00 AM

Strikers & Majors

Strikers & MajorsSign up for one of our Saturday morning YABA sanctioned youth leagues and get the chance to receive awards and national recognition. This is where youth bowlers hone their skills and qualify for state tournaments.

Majors are usually 12 to 21 years old. Strikers are generally 6 to 11.

This full season traditional league starts in September but we take new bowlers any time. Our end of season banquet is the best!

Grand Prix Scholarship Program

Grand Prix Scholarships

We are proud of the scholarships we have provided to youth bowlers.  Over 90 high school graduates have received college money from Camelot Lanes.

The Grand Prix program was started in Texas in the fall of 1984 by a group of proprietors who were interested in strengthening youth bowling.

We began our program with other BPAA members here in Ohio in 1992.

Since that date the Grand Prix has grown to a national program with 30 states participating.

Camelot management and our parent booster group raise money through the season for our young bowlers. For a $7.00 annual fee, you may place your child in the program.

Scholarship dollars are earned each time the youth bowler competes in after school, league play, or tournaments.

The money for each youngster is kept in the youth bowler’s account in the name of the bowling center.

All we ask is that he stays in a bowling program at Camelot each year until he graduates high school.
